Jennifer Quintenz — Writer, The Bond of Saint Marcel

A native of New Mexico, Jennifer was encouraged to pour her creative efforts into writing shortly after teaching the family golden retriever how to pick fruit off the backyard apricot tree.  She studied English Literature and Studio Art at UNC Chapel Hill but spent most of college acting, directing, or producing theater.

After graduating, Jennifer moved to Los Angeles and discovered screenwriting.  She attended the MFA program at the University of Southern California School Of Cinema-Television.  While at USC, Jennifer wrote and directed several short films and earned three awards for excellence in filmmaking.  Her thesis film, KARMA, INCORPORATED, played at 14 festivals across the country, and won her the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences internship in single-camera directing on "The West Wing."

A few years later, Jennifer landed her first professional writing job in television.  Over a very hectic nine months, she wrote twenty-three hour-long episodes for the Twentieth Television telenovelas "Wicked Wicked Games" and "American Heiress."  One month after the telenovelas wrapped, Jennifer joined the writing team of Christian Gossett's comic series The Red Star.

Writing on The Red Star is a dream come true for Jennifer whose love of sci-fi was instilled early in life, and who saved up the wages from many odd jobs to travel to Russia as a high school student.  She is thrilled to have the exquisite artistic talents of Christian and Emil on The Bond of Saint Marcel.
